We would like to bring your attention to these recent gifts to The Nyack Library.

• Congressman Eliot Engel joined us to see the site first-hand, as did Rockland County Legislative Chairwoman, Harriet Cornell. Both have a full understanding of how the expansion and renovation will accommodate the growing needs of our community. Last year more than 250,000 community members walked through our doors, an increase of nearly 7% more than 2007. The Nyack Library is very appreciative for both Congressman Engel’s and Chairwoman Cornell's continued interest and support.
• The Library gratefully acknowledges New York State Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee's continued support, and thanks her for securing $9,000. These funds will go towards our much needed
  state-of-the-art building security system. This brings her total support for the Library to $13,000.
• Thank you once again to our other New York State representatives for their past contributions:
  • Assemblyman, Kenneth Zebrowski for his total support of $7,500; and
  • Senator Thomas Morahan - our largest public official supporter - with $135,000 in funding.
