The Phil Bunton family has recently pledged a very generous donation towards the Nyack Library’s expansion. The library’s new Mystery Room is being dedicated in memory of Phil’s wife, Shirley. In a recent conversation with Shirley’s daughter Jeanette Dailey, she said the Mystery Room is a perfect choice because her mother had always had a love for a good mystery. Jeanette said she knew that if her mom recommended a mystery novel it was certain to be a good one.

The room will be a lasting tribute and a place where Shirley’s family, children, and grandchildren will be able to visit and remember her, perhaps even reading a great whodunit.
